Forever Sabah (FS) organized two smallholder trainings on both November 2019 and February 2020, respectively. The first training was carried out over 3 days, from 18th to 20th November 2019; with training centered on Good Management Practices on Agriculture and Farm Management while the second coordinated smallholder training, held from 18th to 21st February 2020, focused on Financial Management & Filling System. A total of 220 individual smallholders including 43 females attended the trainings by Forever Sabah.
The trainings were planned and executed by four FS Master Trainers who attended the Master Training in Medan back in August 2019. The Master Trainers shared that while administrating the smallholder trainings, they observed that through dividing participants into smaller groups, participants were more keen in engaging among themselves, creating an interactive learning session throughout the trainings. Some feedbacks from participants regarding the sessions were a request on more trainings related to agronomy issues focusing on oil palm management.
